The Window Series was inspired by the sunlight coming through the shutters over a window. I cut and layered hand printed fabrics in sequences to achieve differing times of day and types of light reflection. The pieces are small–about 12″ x 18″ and were assembled using reverse appliqué and subsequent embroidered embellishment.
