The Forest Floor series was inspired by images of leaves and sticks on the forest floor, aerial photographs of the earth, and walks in the lush North Carolina woods. The complex low relief surfaces are composed of hand-printed fabrics with juxtaposed patterns and manipulated hand-dyed materials.
