Isolated at home during the pandemic, I needed a calm and rewarding creative project. I took advantage of an abundance of time to observe my own surroundings closely.  Starting with a series of detailed photographs and interprative sketches, I then stitched this series of impressions of places that I cherish in and around my home.  I kept the images small (4″ x 3″ for vertical images and 3″ x 4″ for horizontal images), in keeping with the intimate nature of the subjects.
